[Press Release] Minnesota Housing Recognizes Luke Klitzke as a Top Producer

Press Release Mortgage

Luke Klitzke, Vice President/Mortgage Loan Specialist at CorTrust Bank, was named a Top Producer by Minnesota Housing for his homeownership program loan production volume during 2025.

“I’m very honored by this recognition from Minnesota Housing! Knowing I’ve played a small part in helping to make homeownership obtainable for others is a truly rewarding part of my job,” said Klitzke.

Opportunities for affordable homeownership are essential as Minnesotans face high housing costs and limited inventory. Minnesota Housing’s Top Producers play a key role for Minnesota homebuyers, offering access to affordable financing options which may reduce upfront costs and move buyers closer to owning a home.

In 2025, participating lenders provided over 3,100 Minnesota Housing home mortgage loans totaling nearly $710 million statewide.

This work supports Minnesota Housing’s mission to collaborate with individuals, communities, and partners to create, preserve, and financing affordable housing. It also advances the agency’s Go Big goal of 40% of first-time mortgages going to Black homeowners, Indigenous homeowners, and homeowners of color.

Homeownership continues to be one of the strongest pathways to stability, wealth building and long-term opportunity. Minnesota Housing partners with local loan officers, like Luke Klitzke, to connect eligible buyers with access to safe, decent, and affordable housing options, including downpayment and closing cost assistance loans up to $18,000 based on programs. Information and eligibility requirements are available by selecting “I am a Homebuyer or Homeowner” on the Minnesota Housing website at mnhousing.gov. Minnesota Housing also offers home improvement loans through participating lenders and finances single-family and multifamily housing throughout the state.

“Minnesota Housing has tremendous resources for homebuyers and homeowners, but it’s our lenders who put them in the hands of Minnesotans. We’re grateful to Luke Klitzke for their partnership,” said Jennfier Leimaile Ho, Minnesota Housing Commissioner.
