Notice of Your Financial Privacy Rights This Notice explains the privacy policies of CorTrust Bank, NA. We are committed to keeping information about you private and secure. This Notice explains our information collection and sharing practices. It identifies the sources from which we collect nonpublic personal information about you, details the measures we take to secure that information, and describes the information about you that we may share with our affiliates and with nonaffiliated third parties. This Notice also explains how you can exercise your choice to limit marketing from our affiliates. 

Definitions:  We, our, and us, mean CorTrust Bank, NA. You and your mean our consumer customers who have a continuing relationship with us by purchasing or holding financial products or services such as:

• Credit Card Account


• Safe Deposit Box


• Retail Installment Contract We Hold and Service


• Self-Directed Individual Retirement Account, or


• Financial, Investment, or Economic Advisory Services 

Nonpublic Personal Information means information about you that we collect in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. Nonpublic personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records.

Affiliate means a company we own or control, a company that owns or controls us, or a company that is owned or controlled by the same company that owns or controls us. Ownership does not mean complete ownership, but means owning enough to have control. Our affiliates include CorTrust Mortgage and CorInsurance. 

Nonaffiliated Third Party means a company that is not an affiliate of ours.

Opt-Out means a choice you can make to limit marketing from our affiliates. We will explain how you can exercise this choice.

Information We Collect: We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

• Information we receive from you on applications or other forms, such as your name, address, social security number, assets, and income;


• Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, and others, such as your account balance, payment history, parties to transactions, and credit card usage; and


• Information from a consumer reporting agency, such as your credit worthiness and your credit history. 

Your Information and Our Affiliates: We may disclose nonpublic personal information about you to financial service providers that are our affiliates, such as mortgage bankers and insurance agents.  Specifically, we may disclose information about your transactions and experience with us, such as:

• Name


• Address,


• Account balances,


• Account activity,


• Types of accounts,


• Credit card usage,


• Payment history, and


• Deposit history.

Federal law allows us to disclose the information listed above to our affiliates. We may also disclose nonpublic personal information about you to our affiliates as permitted by law. You may limit our affiliates in the CorTrust group of companies, such as our mortgage banker and insurance affiliates, from marketing their products or services to you based on your personal information that we collect and share with them. Your choice to limit marketing offers from our affiliates, you do not need to act again. If you obtained a product or service from us with one or more other consumers, an opt-out direction from you or any of the other joint consumers will be treated as applying to all of the associated joint consumers.

Your Information and Nonaffliated Third Parties: We do not disclose nonpulblic personal information about you to anyone, except as permitted by law, such as disclosures necessary to service your account or prevent unauthorized transactions.

Your Information and Outside Marketing Services: We may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf. You do not have a right to opt-out of the disclosure of this information. We may also disclose information about you to other outside marketing services as permitted by law.

Information About Former Customers: The privacy policies and practies described in this Notice also apply to our former customers.

The Confidentiality, Security, and Integrity of Your Information: All of our employees are responsible for protecting the confidentiality of customers' financial and other personal information. Employees are bound by this Notice and are educated on implementing our privacy and information security policies. Only employees actively engaged in their assisgned duties are authorized to access or use customer information. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to store and secure information about you.

Opt-Out Notice: As explained above, we may disclose certain information about your transactions and experiences with us to our affiliates.
